In the Gospels, all of mankind are portrayed as the prodigal sons or daughters who have become lost in the "outer darkness" of mind and being that is personified in the in the parable as the Far Country. The parable teaches that prior to entering into this present life, each of us dwelt in the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father -- and yet, few of us have the ability to remember our more distant past? And the fact that the parables represent Universal Realities that are true of all of mankind, provokes a number of ultra-important questions: Why is there evil in the world? Why does mankind dwell in a state of confusion and dissension? With virtually each person seeing the world from a different perspective? And in many instances, believing that only their perception of the world is correct? If it is true that the Bible is the Word of God, then why does nearly everyone who opens its pages see a different and often conflicting message as to what it means? Why is there little to no agreement among religious leaders? Why do different religious texts not only derive different and sometimes conflicting messages, but also portray God differently? It’s as if each of the prodigal sons and daughter have been plagued by the Tower of Babel Syndrome

As the prodigal son or daughter, each of us is presently dwelling in the "outer darkness" of the Far Country. Yet, because of your divine origin prior to your journey into this, the Far Country, each person possesses important innate abilities that must be developed -- and it is these innate abilities that provide each of us the ability to perceive and comprehend the Truth of all Truths. In the parable, the turning point is portrayed as when the son begins to "come to his senses" --

and it is these innate abilities that provide each of us the ability to perceive and comprehend the Truth of all Truths. In the parable, the turning point is portrayed as when the son begins to "come to his senses" -- which begins when the person starts to remember their True Source of Being prior to their journey into this world.

But to escape and emerge out of the condition of confusion that plagues all of mankind, the person must begin to understand the Natural Laws that cause the confusion. Further, why these Natural Laws were intentionally put into place in order to benefit mankind in what can be rightly portrayed as God's Schoolhouse for his divine offspring. Therefore, it is not a matter of learning or being taught the truth --
(cont)
but rather, embracing the process of Anamnesis, which is the process by which the memory of the lost prodigal son's memory and their divine origin begins to be restored.

To possess the Truth of all Truths, each person must first come to understand the Natural Laws, and how they can individually invoke their latent abilities to prevail over the Laws that are the causal factor of man's alienation from the higher body of Knowledge. Jesus taught that the Kingdom is within you -- and that you must use the scriptures as the Key of Knowledge to open the inner door to gain entrance to the Kingdom.

And this return journey of the lost prodigal son, begins with the knowledge of self and the True Source of our Being. The Gospel of Thomas declares: "Jesus said ...But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty".
(Cont)
And it is this essential body of self-knowledge and one's True Source of Being that has the potential to set each of us free from the prevailing world of opinion and ignorance that plagues virtually all of mankind.

Thus, you must begin the journey home by lifting the curtain of the "outer darkness" that has plunged you into this world of confusion and division.
